Social Impact Report

Welcome to our 2017 social impact report

We are pleased to be able to present you with our 2016/17 Social Impact report. We continue to see growth in the services we provide to children, young people and families, and the positive impact they have on individuals and families. Our volunteers have gone from strength to strength supporting our service delivery, most notably within our services for older people, and our staff have remained focused on their clients and our values throughout our organisation re-structure.

For the first time we have included information on the impact of our community buildings. In April 2017 we renamed Batley Resource Centre to Jo Cox House – to be able to rename one of our buildings after such a well known, local and inspirational woman, with her sister Kim and parents Jean and Gordon present, was a privilege for all involved. We aim now to continue to use our building and services to bring people together and continue to live Jo’s values – community, tolerance, celebration of diversity and being stronger together.

As we move into 2017/18, please continue to help us support and give early help
to children, young people, families and older people.
